There are two sides to the story of Raum Weiss.
The nepotistic businessman. A bachelor born with a silver spoon in his mouth. After his father died in somewhat suspicious circumstances, Raum inherited the top seat of a large advertising agency. Groomed for the role from a young age, he has long since grown used to the weight of its responsibility. Raum is always busy and the tasks are endless — one might call him a workaholic. He balances this daily pressure with a relentless taste for the best of what life has to offer.
The underhand broker. A blue-blooded son of a Russian crime syndicate. Trading clean firearms and dirty information, there’s ample risk and reward in this secret market. When life’s mundane trivialities are too much to bear, this hedonistic danger is Raum’s home away from home.
THE SETTING.
— The Weiss-Morozov Family.
- A mixed German/Russian family. Wealthy and mostly estranged. Everyone operates independently and communicates via cordial letters and emails exchanged by assistants. This is more of a business than a family. One of their ancestors hailed from distant European royalty, but the connection has long since died. Nevertheless, wealth runs in the family line from both directions.
- **Friedrich “**███” Weiss — Father. German. Previous CEO and owner of WC. Emotionally neglectful and sometimes abusive. Viewed Raum as an heir to their family business and successor, rather than a son. Died under suspicious circumstances when Raum was 19 and studying university in France. Left everything to him, for better or worse.
- Nina **Morozov — Mother. Russian. Raum met her only a scarce few times when he was child, he barely remembers her. Divorced Raum’s father and left shortly after he was born. Completely estranged from the entire family (including her brother) and has no contact with anyone. Likely changed her name — her status is unknown.
- Cyrus Morozov — Uncle. (mother's brother). Russian. Bratva leader. Looked after Raum during summers when he was away from boarding school. The only person Raum truly considered family. Didn’t have his own children, so he spoiled Raum and taught him a lot of life lessons.

- Weiss Communications is a large advertising and public relations company.
- The company serves lots of different industries and individual clients. They organise advertisement campaigns and PR strategies for a variety of different brands, especially in TV and print media.
- They are not a public company, the business is 100 percent owned by the family. Raum is the one holding it under his thumb with a majority share, and he has been since he was 20 years old.
- Functionally, Raum is also the CEO of the company. It’s a position with a lot of responsibility and risk involved. This is Raum’s day-job and where he spends the majority of his time.
